Abdominal Exercise
by R. James

There are plenty of formulations you can buy that claim they are the only thing to reduce your belly fat and give you a great shape. But these claims are unlikely to be true.

With aging, the proportion of fat around the abdomen, hips and thighs increases, while the fat around the face, eyes and shoulders decreases. The older we get, the more effort it takes to counteract the force of gravity. Abdominal exercise can be a big step in the right direction.
Here's a simple, but very effective exercise that anyone can do:
Belly Fat Reducer:
- Find a counter or table whose table/counter top reaches the middle of your derrière.
- Stand in front of it, about 6 to 8 inches away from it and lean back into it, so you feel the counter top against your derrière.
- Keeping your back straight and arms down, move back and forth slowly from your belly. Feel your belly muscles moving you. The movements don't need to be big - only about 10 to 12 inches from backwards to forwards.
- Repeat approximately 10 - 15 times, and do this exercise several times a day.
Here's another simple exercise:
- Sit in a chair and grasp the bottom of the chair or the arms with both hands.
- Raise your legs as high as you can and "bicycle pedal" in the air. Try to reach as close to a 90 degree angle as possible. If bicycling is too difficult, just move your legs up and down first doing a "scissors" motion, then together.
