Lose Thigh Fat

How Can I Lose Weight In My Thighs?
You lose weight in your thighs the same way you lose weight anywhere else in your body - with a good diet and exercise. Nothing will make you lose more weight or fat in one area over another.

As people age, the proportion of fat around the belly, hips and thighs increases. The good news is that extra fat in the thighs and hips does not seem to adversly affect health, like extra fat around the belly does.
But it doesn't do much for your looks. And as you age, it takes extra effort to keep fat off those areas. One of the best ways to reduce weight in the thighs is with exercise.
Remember, you can't really reduce weight in any one specific area. So, even though spot reducing may not cause you to lose more thigh fat than midriff fat, you can tone and tighten up the area.
However, you will have to cut down on calories, eat a healthy, nutritious diet and start exercising regularly preferably with a good aerobic exercise routine.
That's because unless you actually lose some weight, even if you tighten and strengthen the muscles underneath, you won't see your great muscles under all that extra girth!
Great exercises to help you lose weight in your thighs:
- Walking up steps or using a Stairmaster are good exercises for the thighs.
- Riding a bicycle is a great way to keep your legs in shape!
- Thighmasters still work!
Remember, while exercise can't cause you to lose more weight in your thighs than another area, it is a good way to shape up and tone up your thighs.
Be sure not to over-exercise your thighs. And also make sure to stretch your thigh muscles after your workout, or your thighs could actually increase in size!
